Preliminary Task

Preliminary task
by
Chess, Colleen and Rhoda.

INT. SCENE - DESCRIPTION
1. A young lady is walking quickly (almost jogging) down the corridor and towards a door. She is carrying her bag and before she enters the room she checks the time on her watch.
2. When she approaches the door she opens it and walks through.
3. When she enters the room she immediately sits down.
4. The other young lady already sat in the room, jumps out of her seat and while standing - shouts in anger at the lady who has just sat down about being late.
5. In response, she vulnerably claims that she didn't know she was late and stays put in her chair.
6. The lady who is stood up then makes a sarcastic remark that she is "clearly late."

Rhoda:
(hastily)
Why were you late?
Colleen:
(innocently)
I didn't know I was late.
Rhoda:
(sarcastically)
Well you're clearly late!
